The initiative ‘Local To Global Retails Products of Local Entrepreneurs’ introduced by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) is to support Malaysian products in the international market by penetrating large supermarket chains that have retail branches abroad. The Malaysian ‘qari’ (male reciter) and ‘qariah’ (female reciter) were crowned champions at 64th International Quran Recitation and Memorisation Assembly (MTHQA).
