MOE Implements Education Programme For GISBH Charity Homes Children

PUTRAJAYA, The Ministry of Education (MOE), in collaboration with the Social Welfare Department (JKM), has implemented an education programme for children from GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) charity homes, currently under the care of authorities, starting Tuesday (Oct 1). MOE, in a statement today announced that the programme, involving 68 teachers, is specifically designed to provide formal, structured education to the children, ensuring they do not face learning disruptions. The programme utilises the Year 1 Transition Programme Kit and the Healthy Mind Intervention Programme Module (PRISMA) to cater to children who have never been part of the national education system.

KUALA LUMPUR, Former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin today failed in his bid for the temporary release of his passport to go to Uzbekistan with his wife to celebrate their 52nd wedding anniversary.
