Manila: Operatives of the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) confiscated almost PHP800 million worth of illegal drugs in September. In a statement Tuesday, PDEG chief Brig. Gen. Eleazar Matta said these narcotics were seized in 57 anti-drug operations, comprising 38 buy-busts, four search warrant operations, one marijuana eradication operation, and 13 service warrants of arrest. He said these operations resulted in the arrest of 77 drug personalities.
