Manila: A bill allowing equal access for Filipino Muslims and indigenous peoples (IPs) in public cemeteries has gained support from Senate minority leader Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III. 3 suspects in shooting of village officer nabbed in QC

Manila: The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Thursday said three suspects have been arrested over a shooting incident that left two people dead, including a barangay public safety officer in Quezon City, and another one wounded. In a press briefing held at the QCPD headquarters in Camp Karingal, QCPD director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan identified the suspects as Ricardo Lucas Jr., 44; Ernie Tambaoan, 40; and Jenny Joy Roldan, 31 live-in partner of Tambaoan.
