NCIA Facilitates JV Agreement Between Yenher And Danish Company Involving RM75 Mln Investment

GEORGE TOWN, The Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) has facilitated a joint venture agreement between Yenher Holdings Bhd and Danish firm Fermentationexperts A/S (FE) to form YH European Protein Asia Sdn Bhd (YHEPA). NCIA said that initially, YHEPA would convert an existing facility in Simpang Ampat, Penang, into a state-of-the-art GMP+ certified manufacturing plant with a total investment, for this first phase, of an estimated RM75 million. SERDANG, The agro-food sector’s contribution of 10.9 per cent to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the first quarter of 2024 is a positive indicator of the country’s economic growth, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu said.
