GEORGE TOWN, The Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) has facilitated a joint venture agreement between Yenher Holdings Bhd and Danish firm Fermentationexperts A/S (FE) to form YH European Protein Asia Sdn Bhd (YHEPA). NCIA said that initially, YHEPA would convert an existing facility in Simpang Ampat, Penang, into a state-of-the-art GMP+ certified manufacturing plant with a total investment, for this first phase, of an estimated RM75 million. SERDANG, The agro-food sector’s contribution of 10.9 per cent to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the first quarter of 2024 is a positive indicator of the country’s economic growth, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu said. KUALA LUMPUR, The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) has proposed a collaboration with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) to conduct a study of e-commerce laws.
