Comelec-NIR to hold poll counting machine demo in every LGU

BACOLOD CITY – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will conduct a demonstration of the automated counting machine (ACM) in every local government unit (LGU) in Negros Island Region (NIR) as part of the voters’ education campaign for the May 2025 national and local elections. Customs-NAIA intercepts P6.8-M worth of kush

Manila: The Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Saturday reported the interception of parcels containing kush (high-grade marijuana) worth PHP6.8 million at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) in Pasay City. In a statement, BOC-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) said the four parcels containing illegal drugs were discovered on Sept. 12. The CMEC is a Philippine Postal Corporation facility where mails and packages delivered via air travel are inspected, assessed, documented and stored.
