KOTA BHARU, The Sessions Court here has set Dec 8 and 9 to hear the case of a tour agency manager, Hafizul Hawari, 38, who is facing seven charges including unlawful possession of firearms. SHANGHAI, Malaysia continues exploring the field of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or drone technology through collaboration with China, focusing on the exchange and sharing of expertise and technology. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said that the collaboration between MARA Aerospace and Technologies Sdn Bhd and the third-largest UAV technology company in China, Honeycomb Aerospace Technologies (Beijing) Co Ltd, will enable Malaysia to locally develop such a technology. PADANG BESAR, The Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM) in Perlis successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle 73,319 kilogrammes (kg) of Syabu worth RM2,346,208 into the country at the Padang Besar Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security (ICQS) Complex on Sept 3.
