Police Record Statements From 11 Individuals In Baby Girl’s Drowning Probe

KOTA BHARU, Police have summoned 11 individuals, including survivors and their parents, to record their statements regarding a tragic incident, involving a three-wheeled motorcycle, on Friday, resulting in the drowning of a 15-month-old baby girl in Bachok. Encorp Suspends Group CEO

KUALA LUMPUR, Encorp Bhd has suspended its group chief executive officer (CEO) Hazurin Harun to facilitate an internal investigation related to allegations made involving the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). JPJ Cracks Down On Touts At Penang International Airport

GEORGE TOWN, The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has taken action against private vehicle owners for offering illegal passenger transport or car rental services at Penang International Airport near here. According to a Penang JPJ Facebook post, nine private vehicles, including rental, e-hailing cars, and taxis, were seized during Op Ulat on Aug 10 and 11. ‘Investigations revealed that the drivers of these vehicles were transporting local tourists and charging them fees according to their destinations,’ it said. CPO Futures End Lower Amid Signs Of Weaker Exports, Rising Output

KUALA LUMPUR, The crude palm oil (CPO) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Monday amid signs of weaker exports and concerns over rising output in the coming weeks, said palm oil trader David Ng.
