Over 1,600 Active Projects Costing RM72.6 Billion Implemented This Year – Nanta

KUALA KRAI, A total of 1,687 active projects costing RM72.61 billion under the Public Works Department (JKR) were implemented this year, Public Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi said. SEPANG, Police arrested a married couple and seized 265 kilogrammes of green leaves suspected to be ketum leaves, estimated to be worth RM10,600, early this morning. Octogenarian Rises Above Adversity To Complete 11-Year Doctorate Journey

BANGI, A former lecturer at Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS), Dr Siti Zaharah Hamid, 82, has risen above adversity to complete her doctorate journey that she started in 2013. The Bukit Mertajam, Penang native, was forced to use magnifying glasses of various sizes to conduct her research due to cataracts and glaucoma. She also had to navigate her studies between two cataract surgeries, in addition to undergoing treatment for heart and thyroid issues.
