4 NPAs surrender in Zamboanga Peninsula

Four members of the communist New People’s Army (NPA) have surrendered to government authorities in the provinces of Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga del Sur, police officials disclosed Wednesday. The NPA surrenderers were identified as Rosemarie Abis Banales, 34; Joan Magbian, 24; Ronel Racho, 27; and Leizel Ann Cañete Culot Racho, 26. Col. Albert Larubis, Zamboanga Sibugay police director, said Banales surrendered around 2:20 p.m. Tuesday in Purok 1, Barangay Peñaranda, Kabasalan. Measures to attract investors for NorMin local start-ups begin

The Department of Science and Technology – Northern Mindanao (DOST-10) is drawing up measures to attract more investors for local start-ups.
