A lawmaker on Monday called for the immediate release of fuel subsidy and other forms of assistance for farmers and fisherfolk amid the soaring prices of oil in the international market. The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) will provide cash aid worth US$200 (around PHP10,000) for each overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Hong Kong who tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), Malacañang said Monday. MMDA eyes to replace concrete barriers with other safety aids

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is mulling alternatives to concrete barriers along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (Edsa) for the safety of motorists traversing the busy thoroughfare.
