9 nabbed, drug den dismantled in Cotabato police ops

Nine personalities involved in illegal drugs were arrested while a suspected drug den was dismantled in separate police operations here on Wednesday. Lt. Adones Guiambangan, chief of the city police drug enforcement unit, said seven persons were nabbed inside a suspected drug den around 12:30 p.m. in Barangay Rosary Heights 9. DepEd assesses schools in Ilocos for face-to-face classes

The Department of Education (DepEd) is assessing at least 28 rural schools in the province of Ilocos Norte if they qualify to be included in the pilot run for limited face-to-face classes. Senior education program specialist and acting information officer Valerie Talamayan of the Schools Division of Ilocos Norte said phone interview on Wednesday the 28 pre-identified primary and secondary schools are in the towns of Vintar, Adams, Pinili, Bangui, Dumalneg, Burgos, Nueva Era, Marcos and Pasuquin. Rich states have ‘moral obligation’ to fight climate change: PRRD

A member of the House of Representatives is proposing mandatory vaccination against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) for all Filipinos eligible to receive the vaccines. San Jose del Monte City Rep.
