QC hospital to convert chapel into ICU ward

To accommodate increasing severe coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases, the Quezon City General Hospital and Medical Center (QCGHMC) will convert its chapel into an intensive care unit (ICU) ward. In a statement on Friday, QCGHMC Director Dr. Josephine Sabando said the hospital’s Covid-19 ward and ICU have reached their full capacity. “With this extension facility, we hope to admit more Covid-19 patients who are in need of urgent and extensive treatment,” Sabando said.
