Manila: Sixteen domestic flights were canceled due to Tropical Storm Ada, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported on Friday.

According to Philippines News Agency, the canceled flights involved routes between Cebu, Siargao, Davao, and Clark, operated by Cebu Pacific's CebGo. The affected flights included DG6851, DG6850, DG6857, DG6858, DG6861, DG6862, DG6855, DG6856, DG6853, DG6854, DG6859, DG6860, DG6871, DG6872, DG6759, and DG6760, impacting at least 1,008 passengers.

CAAP further reported that there was no damage at several major airports including Bicol International Airport, Tacloban Airport, and others. The authority emphasized their coordination with government agencies and airline operators, assuring that passenger safety remains a top priority.
