Marinduque: Scholarships and grants have been awarded to students under the Marcos administration's 'Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat' initiative, as confirmed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Target beneficiaries have received higher education program grants and scholarships as part of this drive.

According to Philippines News Agency, CHED Chairperson Shirley Agrupis participated in the nationwide simultaneous Handog ng Pangulo activities in Marinduque. She emphasized the importance of unity and resilience among Filipinos in overcoming adversity, while highlighting the government's efforts to deliver services directly to various provinces across the nation. This message was extended on behalf of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

The CHED chief led the awarding of Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) grants to students at Marinduque State University and facilitated the delivery of CHED services. Additionally, CHED regional offices furthered their campaign by providing scholarship information, admission assistance, and ceremonial awarding of TES grants to eligible beneficiaries in other areas of the country.

Further higher education services included offering information and assistance on graduate scholarships, flexible learning, and micro-credentials. An awareness and information drive for the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) was also conducted to help students recognize prior work and learning towards a degree, as well as opportunities to return to college and verify academic records.

Overall, the agency's assistance was provided alongside other government services covering health and nutrition, jobs and livelihoods, agriculture, education and skills training, social welfare, legal and financial concerns, and public safety.
