Cagayan de oro: The Regional Development Council in Northern Mindanao (RDC-10) has elected new officers and refined its medium-term plans, aligning them with the national “Ambisyon Natin 2040” vision. During a consultation on Tuesday, the RDC-10 updated its Northern Mindanao Regional Development Plan for 2023-2028 to ensure the region’s strategies remain closely aligned with Ambisyon Natin 2040 and the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028.
According to Philippines News Agency, Assistant Secretary Agnes Espinas-Tolentino of the Department of Economic Planning and Development (DEPDev) Regional Development Group urged RDC-10 officers to continue collaborating, adopting adaptive strategies, and maintaining a shared commitment to promote the region’s long-term vision. Ambisyon Natin 2040 envisions a prosperous, middle-class Philippines by 2040, with no poverty, reflecting Filipinos’ hopes for a secure and stable life.
Meanwhile, DEPDev-10 Director Mylah Faye Aurora Cari±o said the election of the new committee officers will pave the way for a more coordinated and inclusive approach to regional development. The new officers will meet and reorganize their respective committees before the RDC-10 Full Council’s first regular meeting, scheduled for September 30.
