Manila: Tropical Storm Pilandok (international name Krovanh) maintained its strength, packing maximum sustained winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center, and gustiness of up to 80 kph. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), in its 5 p.m. bulletin on Tuesday, said Pilandok was last traced 1,015 km east of extreme Northern Luzon, moving northwestward at 10 kph. No wind signal is hoisted on any part of the country.

According to Philippines News Agency, most of Luzon and Visayas, Zamboanga del Norte, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Oriental, Camiguin, Dinagat Islands, Davao Occidental, and Davao Oriental will continue experiencing strong to gale-force gusts due to the southwest monsoon or "habagat". Gale warning is still in effect over the northern and western seaboards of Northern Luzon.

PAGASA said "habagat" will also cause occasional rains over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Batanes, and Zambales. It will also bring scattered rains and thunderstorms across Metro Manila, Cordillera, the rest of Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon, as well as Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, Aklan, and Antique.

Meanwhile, PAGASA said Pilandok will remain far from landmass and will likely exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Thursday.
