Caraga: The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 13 (Caraga) has announced that over 100,000 beneficiaries and clients have been successfully verified this month using the Basta Beripikado, Mabilis ang Serbisyo (BBM Serbisyo) web application.
According to Philippines News Agency, the BBM Serbisyo is an online platform designed to modernize, secure, and expedite the verification of basic information for clients and beneficiaries, including their National ID (PhilSys) registration. This initiative aims to enhance the delivery of assistance and ensure that the agency's services are directed to the rightful recipients.
The DSWD-13 highlighted that the platform not only speeds up service delivery but also plays a crucial role in preventing fraud and duplicate claims in various programs such as social pensions and livelihood initiatives. The agency is committed to continuing its verification efforts throughout the year to ensure all beneficiaries and clients are accounted for.
