Caraga: About 100 vacant construction-related jobs will be offered at a one-day Job Fair on March 26 at a mall in this city. The Department of Labor and Employment in Caraga Region (DOLE-13) announced on Wednesday that the job fair will be held in collaboration with stakeholders in the region's construction industry. 'We call on our job seekers to explore this opportunity in the construction industry, meet top employers, and take the next step in your career,' the DOLE-13 said.
According to Philippines News Agency, the fair, called 'Project DAPAT: Construction Job Fair,' will be attended by 11 companies from various provinces and cities in the region. DAPAT stands for DOLE Action Plan and Transition, a specialized program designed to help displaced workers by offering job fairs, livelihood support and other essential services.
Among the jobs available at the fair are mechanics, technicians, bus drivers, heavy equipment operators, machinists, laborers, and masons. Construction firms are also seeking applicants for administrative and office roles, including compliance managers.
The DOLE-13 reminds job seekers to bring necessary documents to the fair, including resumes, ID cards, and available training certificates.
