MANILA: The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) successfully confiscated PHP41 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested 321 suspects during a series of anti-drug operations conducted over the past week. This achievement underscores the ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug activities in the region.

According to Philippines News Agency, the NCRPO revealed these results following 204 coordinated law enforcement activities that took place from October 31 to November 7. The operations spanned the five districts under the NCRPO’s jurisdiction, namely the Manila Police District, Quezon City Police District, Northern Police District, Southern Police District, and Eastern Police District (EPD).

One of the significant highlights of the NCRPO’s operations was the Eastern Police District’s seizure of five kilograms of kush, valued at PHP7.5 million. This accomplishment reflects the NCRPO’s focused efforts in its campaign against illegal drugs.

The NCRPO emphasized the importance of community involvement
