Nationwide Voter Education Roadshow Scheduled to Enhance Voter Preparedness.

Manila: In preparation for the May 12, 2025 National and Local Elections and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Parliamentary Elections, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) is set to conduct a nationwide voter education roadshow starting Monday. The roadshow will include live demonstrations of the automated counting machine (ACM), allowing voters to familiarize themselves with the new technology.

According to Philippines News Agency, the poll body announced in a social media post that both newly registered and returning voters will have the opportunity to experience how to use the ACM. ‘The goal of the roadshow is to introduce the automated counting machine to Filipino voters, to ensure they understand how to properly use the machine, and to reinforce the importance of exercising their right and responsibility to vote,’ the Comelec stated.

For a comprehensive list of roadshow venues, the public is encouraged to visit the official Comelec Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/share/1AuX7
