Iloilo City: The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) has arrested 64 individuals and confiscated PHP8.4 million worth of illegal drugs in February. In a report on Tuesday, the ICPO said 51 anti-drug operations conducted last month led to the seizure of 1.2 kilograms of shabu and the arrest of the suspects, including 14 high-value individuals.

According to Philippines News Agency, ICPO City Director Col. Kim Legada commended the operatives for their dedication and efforts and warned those involved in the drug trade. “The Iloilo City Police Office will not waver in its mission. We will hunt you down, dismantle your operations, and bring you to justice. There is no place for drugs in our city,” he said in a statement.

In a separate statement, Mayor Jerry Tre±as expressed confidence that the city will achieve more as the safety and security of every Ilonggo remains a top priority of the ICPO.
