KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, tracking the movement of the underlying cash market.
Spot month September 2024 and December 2024 fell 12.0 points each to 1,631.0 and 1,639.0, respectively, October 2024 dropped 10.0 to 1,636.0, while March 2025 reduced 10.5 points to 1,626.5
Turnover widened to 8,330 lots from 6,394 lots yesterday, while open interest increased to 54,133 contracts from 52,312 contracts previously.
At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) slid 20.55 points to 1,639.80 from yesterday’s close of 1,660.35.
