DOLE Reports Surge in Nationwide Job Fairs

Manila: The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Monday reported that the number of job fair activities nationwide continues to increase. In a social media post, DOLE-Bureau of Local Employment (BLE) Director Patrick Patriwirawan Jr. said the number of employment fairs soared to 2,356 in 2025, from 1,900 in 2024 and 1,600 in 2023.

According to Philippines News Agency, last year, 83,000 individuals were hired on the spot at these job fairs, showcasing DOLE's ongoing efforts to provide job opportunities. Earlier, the DOLE reported that over 529,000 jobseekers participated in job fairs across the country.

Aside from job opportunities, employment fairs also featured one-stop shop services in collaboration with partner government agencies. These services provided on-site assistance for government programs, including social protection, livelihood support, and labor rights information.
