San juan city: The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and Pag-IBIG Fund have launched a nationwide simultaneous open house event for housing projects under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program. The event took place on Monday, aligning with the birthday week of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. as part of the 'Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Tapat Para sa Lahat' initiative.
According to Philippines News Agency, DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling emphasized that this activity demonstrates the administration's dedication to enhancing access to housing opportunities. Aliling stated that through the 'Handog ng Pangulo' initiative, government programs, services, and housing opportunities are being brought closer to Filipinos across the country. Aliling represented President Marcos at the main event at the Makabagong San Juan Theater in San Juan City, highlighting the administration's focus on fostering collaboration among national and local government units, the private sector, and communities to ensure the provision of decent homes and secure communities.
The one-day event, titled 'Handog ng Pangulo: Nationwide Open House sa Bagong Pilipinas,' featured 14 Pag-IBIG-accredited Expanded 4PH housing project sites across Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao. In Luzon, the sites included Torre De Florencia in Caloocan City, Bocaue Bulacan Manor in Bulacan, Brentwood Residences Phases 2 and 3 in Capas, Tarlac, Crystal Peak Estates and Bloomfield Subdivision in Pampanga, Pilar 4PH Project in Bataan, Palayan City Township in Nueva Ecija, and Caya Homes Candelaria in Quezon.
The Visayas hosted sites such as Cebu City Residential Park, Deca Homes Granada 2 in Bacolod City, Richwood Homes Bohol Dos in Dauis, Bohol, and Primary Homes Negros in Tanjay, Negros Oriental. Meanwhile, Mindanao locations included Deca Homes GenSan 2 in General Santos City and the Expanded 4PH Housing Caravan in Panabo City, Davao del Norte.
Prospective homebuyers were invited to visit these sites to inspect available housing units, explore affordable financing options, and learn more about homeownership opportunities under the expanded program.
