Davao: Police arrested 22 people and seized about PHP2 million worth of illegal drugs in 14 operations from Tuesday to Wednesday, the Police Regional Office in Davao (PRO-11) reported Thursday. PRO-11 director, Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete, highlighted the success of these operations, which resulted in the seizure of 228.1 grams of shabu and 4,084.6 grams of dried marijuana leaves.
According to Philippines News Agency, Rosete emphasized the regional police’s ongoing commitment to combating illegal drug activities in the area. In addition to the recent drug busts, Rosete shared that from February 10 to 16, police arrested 79 wanted individuals, including high-profile fugitives.
Rosete stated, “We will continue to pursue wanted persons,” urging the public to report any information about fugitives to the nearest police station or through the PRO-11 hotline.
