Police ops net almost P1-M drugs in Davao Region

DAVAO CITY: Authorities in the Davao Region seized nearly PHP1 million worth of illegal drugs in 24-hour operations, the Police Regional Office (PRO-11) reported Wednesday. In a statement, PRO-11 said the nine drug-related operations -carried out between 5 a.m. of July 30 and 5 a.m. of July 31- resulted in the confiscation of PHP926,548 worth of illicit substances and the arrest of 11 individuals. ‘PRO-11 continues to strengthen efforts against illegal drugs in the Davao Region,’ the statement added.
