Health Ministry Spends RM137 Mln Yearly To Maintain 201 Health Clinics

KUALA LUMPUR,, The Ministry of Health (MOH) spends a total of RM137 million a year to maintain 201 health clinics nationwide under the Clinic Support Services (PSK), with a five-year contract from 2022, the Dewan Negara was told today. Arunasalam, the MOH today said the PSK is a non-comprehensive maintenance programme involving facility engineering maintenance services and cleaning services. KUALA LUMPUR,, The Limited Liability Partnerships (Amendment) Bill 2024, which aims to help reduce liability for partners in conventional partnerships, was passed by the Dewan Negara today. Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Fuziah Salleh said that under the amendments to the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2013 (Act 743), provisions related to the reporting framework and the disclosure of beneficial ownership information would be included. FBM KLCI Futures Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR,, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives traded higher this morning. At 9.56 am, the spot month July 2024 contract added 1.0 point to 1,615.5, August 2024 inched up half-a-point to 1,617.5, September 2024 rose 1.5 points to 1,601.5, and December 2024 increased 3.0 points to 1,610.0. Turnover amounted to 3,154 lots while open interest stood at 56,414 contracts. At 10.07 am, the FBM KLCI inched up 0.55 of-a-point to 1,612.49 from yesterday’s close of 1,611.94. Pascual resigns as Trade chief

MANILA: Secretary Alfredo Pascual has stepped down as head of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said Wednesday.
