Flood In Kubang Pasu: 53 Residents Evacuated

ALOR SETAR, A relief centre (PPS) has been opened in the Kubang Pasu district to accommodate 53 victims from 15 families affected by the flood. Kubang Pasu Civil Defense Officer Captain (PA) Mohd Adenin Suhaimi said the PPS was opened at 9,16 pm yesterday at Sekolah Kebangsaan Malau, near Jitra to accommodate the victims. The flood in Mukim Malau affected three villages, namely Kampung Padang Panjang, Kampung Sampang and Kampung Lubuk Ipoh. PEZA OKs nearly P7-B projects in August

Manila: The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) reported Tuesday that its Board of Directors has approved PHP6.978 billion of investments from 21 new and expansion projects. In a statement, PEZA said these project registrations were approved during a board meeting at the West Cebu Estate in Balamban, Cebu last Aug. 27.
