3 Chinese plane theft gang members intercepted at NAIA

Manila: The Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Wednedsay reported the interception of three Chinese men allegedly involved in a theft incident on a flight to Manila. In a statement, BI officer-in-charge Joel Anthony Viado identified the suspects as Lyu Shuiming, 48; Xu Xianpu, 41; and Xie Xiaoyong, 54. Manila: A PHP26-million solar rooftop project of a registered manufacturing facility is the first energy efficiency and conservation (EEandC) project to get a Board of Investments’ (BOI) nod. The BOI reported Wednesday that it has approved the 519.2 kilowatt peak (kWp) Solar PV Rooftop System project of Nakashin Davao International, Inc., the first registered project to get incentives from the EEandC Act. Manila: Twenty people were killed due to the combined effects of the enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat) and tropical cyclones Ferdie and Gener, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Wednesday. This number is higher by 10 compared to Tuesday’s figures. The number of affected families are placed at 156,524 residing in 1,178 barangays in 12 regions. Two Policemen Suspended Over Drug, Ketum Case

IPOH, Two low-ranking policemen in the state have been suspended from duty effective today due to their involvement in drug and ketum abuse.
