KAWASAKI, Japan, Toshiba Electronic Devices and Storage Corporation (“Toshiba”) has added the ‘TRSxxx120Hx Series’ of 1200V products to its lineup of third-generation silicon carbide (SiC) Schottky barrier diodes (SBD) for industrial equipment, such as photovoltaic inverters, EV charging stations and switching power supplies. Toshiba today started shipments of the ten new products in the series, five in a TO-247-2L package and five in a TO-247 package. MACC Focuses On Combating Corruption In Construction Sector – Azam Baki

BANGI, The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is focusing on combating issues of corruption, weaknesses in governance and power abuse in the country’s construction sector. MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said the construction sector is highly vulnerable to corruption, including road construction and building projects, as well as an increase in the cost of government contracts. DPWH launches online excavation permits in 3 regions

Manila: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has started an online application and issuance of excavation permits in three regions, as part of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s push to digitize government services. DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan said the three-month pilot test of the Permit Issuance Application (PIA) system is currently being implemented in the National Capital Region (NCR), Central Visayas (Region 7), and Davao Region (Region 11).
