PH named 1 of fastest 10-year risers in Global Innovation Index

Manila: The Philippines has leapfrogged 47 places over the past decade in the Global Innovation Index (GII) published by the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO). The country ranked 53rd this year from 100th place in the 2014 edition of the report, making the country one of the fastest 10-year risers along with China, Trkiye, India and Vietnam. The Philippines also advanced three notches from 56th place last year. Op Global: Chronology Of GISBH Case As Of Sept 27

The Op Global implemented to combat child exploitation activities and allegations of religious fanaticism linked to GlSB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) has now entered phase four. Since the first phase of Op Global, which started at the beginning of September, over 300 individuals, including the top management of GISBH, were arrested, 572 victims were rescued, and seven suspects were charged in court with 29 charges. The Election Commission (EC) reminded voters in the Mahkota state assembly by-election not to wear clothing, caps, face masks, or bring items displaying party or candidate logos when casting their votes tomorrow.
