Bursa Malaysia Rebounds To Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Bursa Malaysia staged a rebound from yesterday’s losses at the opening bell today, supported by renewed buying activities in selected heavyweights amid a recovery in the regional markets, according to an analyst. DFA concerned, monitoring reports of ‘foreign covert ops’ in PH

Manila: The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is closely monitoring reports of alleged foreign covert operations in the Philippines, its spokesperson Ma. Teresita Daza said Thursday. Speaking to reporters at the DFA office in Pasay, Daza said the issue is an ‘area of concern’ and that the DFA is currently coordinating with relevant government agencies on the matter. ‘The Department has noted reports containing relevant information on alleged foreign covert operations in the Philippines.
