‘Kristine’ affects 469 families in Cordillera

BAGUIO CITY – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Cordillera said about 469 families, or 1,568 individuals, in the region have been affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami). DOH distributes hygiene kits, meds to ‘Kristine’ victims

The Department of Health (DOH) on Thursday provided medical interventions in evacuation centers in areas affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (Trami) in the Bicol region. The members of its Health Emergency Response Team from different regions distributed hygiene kits and medicines to the evacuees. Evacuees were also given medical consultations following the initial assessment of the evacuation centers. SMDC turns over P248-M socialized housing project to Iloilo City

SM Development Corporation (SMDC) symbolically turned over its PHP248 million first vertical socialized housing project, the KaUswagan Residences, in Barangay San Isidro, Jaro, to the local government here on Thursday.
