2 Basilan village peacekeepers killed in ambush

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Authorities have launched a manhunt against four gunmen responsible for the ambush-slay of two Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) members in Sumisip, Basilan, a top police official said Saturday. Cerrazid Umabong, Basilan Police director, identified the fatalities as Hasid Dohong Bidalul, 37, a resident of Barangay Tongsengal, and Ridzman Asdaman, 42, of Barangay Limbocandis, both BPAT members in Sumisip. Manila: Water interruption at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 is being addressed, operator New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) said Thursday.
