PAL Seeks Alternative Flights for Passengers After Emergency Landing in Japan
Tokyo: The Philippine Airlines (PAL) is actively seeking alternative flights for passengers affected by an emergency landing of its Los Angeles-bound flight at Haneda Airport, Japan. The incident occurred due to smoke detected inside the cabin. According to Philippines News Agency, Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon announced during a press conference that PAL is arranging for the continuation of the passengers’ journey to Los Angeles after the aircraft was unable to proceed with its flight. Flight PR102, which took off from Manila on April 9, was diverted to Haneda Airport following reports of smoke from one of its air conditioning units.
