BOC Reschedules Auction of Seized Discaya Luxury Cars to November 20

Manila: The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has announced the rescheduling of the public auction for seven luxury cars seized from the Discaya family, moving the event to November 20, 2025. The auction will take place at 10 a.m. in the Situation Room, Ground Floor, OCOM Building, South Harbor, Port Area, Manila, according to the BOC’s social media update.

According to Philippines News Agency, the auction was initially planned for November 17 but was postponed due to disruptions caused by Super Typhoon Uwan, known internationally as Fung-wong. The BOC has also opened a two-day public viewing of the luxury vehicles, scheduled for November 12-14, 2025, at the PUC Parking Area, OCOM Grounds in Port Area, Manila.

The BOC has updated the Notice of Public Auction on its website, initially posted on November 3, to reflect changes in the floor price and bond requirements. The floor price has been adjusted from PHP17,041,121.93 to PHP17,311,121.93, while the bond has been revised from PHP852,056.00 to PHP865,556.00.

The BOC emphasizes that the auction is part of its initiative to reclaim revenues for the Filipino people. A prior report from the bureau indicated that most of the luxury vehicles seized from Pacifico “Curlee” and Cezarah Rowena “Sarah” Discaya lacked records of paid duties and taxes.

The BOC encourages interested bidders to engage in this initiative, which aims to ensure the reclamation and redirection of public assets toward national development. Detailed registration information and guidelines are available in the Official Auction Notice, accessible via the provided link: https://shorturl.at/Ni60j.

The luxury vehicles to be auctioned include a Toyota Tundra (2022), Toyota Sequoia (2023), Rolls Royce Cullinan (2023), Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG (2022), Mercedes-Benz G500 (2019, Brabus), Lincoln Navigator L (2021), and Bentley Bentayga (2022).
