Quezon city: Avida Land is optimistic about the success of its latest residential project, The Heights Katipunan, due to the scarcity of new condominium developments in the area and the presence of major educational institutions.
According to Philippines News Agency, Avida Land, a subsidiary of Ayala Land focusing on mid-income residential properties, is investing PHP3.1 billion in The Heights Katipunan. The project, recently launched, is slated for completion by September 2030. Avida Land's chief operating officer, Aris Gonzales, highlighted during a briefing on Tuesday that the limited number of high-rise projects in the vicinity bolsters their confidence in achieving strong unit sales.
The Heights Katipunan will feature 33 residential floors and offer amenities such as a swimming pool, meeting room, study hall, multi-purpose hall, and gym. Avida Land is partnering with The Buchan Group Australia Pty Ltd. for the design of the building's facade and is incorporating advanced security and safety features like RFID access control, digital locks, and CCTV.
The development is also designed to include sustainability features such as heat-reducing materials and rainwater harvesting systems. Gonzales emphasized the project's appeal as a strong investment location, reinforced by its status as an educational hub and its long-term residential appeal.
"The Heights Katipunan is designed to serve both end-users and investors-offering efficient, climate-resilient homes that align with how people live, study, and work today," Gonzales stated.
