San fernando city: Over 250 tourism-related job vacancies will be offered at a job fair in San Fernando City, La Union on Saturday. This initiative is part of the province's World Tourism Month celebration, in collaboration with Go Negosyo, according to the provincial government on Friday.

According to Philippines News Agency, the job fair aims to connect local jobseekers with potential employers and provide access to career opportunities, especially in the tourism and hospitality sectors. The provincial government emphasized the importance of this initiative for boosting local employment and supporting the tourism industry.

A wide range of vacancies from tourism-related establishments, including hotels, restaurants, fast-food chains, and retail businesses, will be available at the job fair hosted by SM City La Union. Positions such as information technology technician, pool technician, reservation assistant, front office manager, food attendant, room attendant, housekeeping manager, certified public accountant, bartender, and lifeguard are among those being offered.

Jobseekers are encouraged to register online and bring an updated resume or biodata to the event, ensuring they are prepared to meet potential employers and explore various career opportunities in the thriving tourism sector.
