Manila: The population affected by Super Typhoon Uwan (international name Fung-wong) has climbed to 4,678,142 persons as of Thursday, according to the latest update from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). In its report, the disaster response agency said the affected individuals are equivalent to 1,332,223 families residing in 11,661 barangays in 16 regions.
