Caraga: The Department of Health (DOH) 13 (Caraga Region) announced the release of Licenses to Operate (LTOs) to six more Primary Care Facilities (PCFs) in the region, bringing the total number of licensed PCFs to 36. According to Philippines News Agency, the newly licensed PCFs include the Tandag City Health Office and Birthing Center and the Barobo Primary Care Facility in Surigao del Sur, and the Prosperidad Rural Health Unit in Agusan del Sur. Also receiving LTOs were the Placer Primary Care Facility in Surigao del Norte, as well as the Luna and Cagniog Primary Care Facilities in Surigao City.

Ilocos norte: Ilocos Norte Vice Governor Matthew Joseph Manotoc on Thursday urged the wise use of an “underutilized” multimillion-peso cold storage facility in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, to benefit more farmers. Worth PHP33.4 million and funded by the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP), the facility, currently used by tomato growers, was turned over to the San Joaquin Multi-Purpose Cooperative on July 29, 2024. Manila: The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will resume the nationwide voters’ registration activities on October 20. According to Philippines News Agency, the seven-month registration period will be held until May 18, 2026, in all regions of the country except for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). In an interview, Garcia mentioned that they anticipate over 1 million applicants to register during this period. “We believe we can reach 1.4 million registrants,” he added.
