Cebu city: Vietnam Coast Guard (VCG) vessel ‘CSB 8002’ arrived in Cebu City on Monday for a five-day port visit and joint exercise with the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) to boost maritime cooperation between the two countries. Marcos Jr.’s decision not to certify the proposed 2026 national budget as urgent, saying it would allow lawmakers to thoroughly review the spending measure before final approval.
