NBI Arrests Two for Human Trafficking in Bataan
Bataan: The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) announced that its Bataan District Office (BATADO) has apprehended two individuals on charges related to human trafficking. Regina Tagulao and Grazel De Vera were detained at a resto-bar in Limay, Bataan on September 3 for allegedly offering women, including minors, to customers for sexual services. According to Philippines News Agency, the operation resulted in the rescue of five individuals, two of whom were minors. The suspects have been charged under Republic Act (RA) 9208, as amended by RA 10364 and further amended by RA 11862, known as the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act
