Baguio city: The Department of Social Welfare and Development in the Cordillera Administrative Region (DSWD-CAR) has provided more than PHP15 million in assistance to families impacted by severe weather conditions in July. Manila: The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is approaching its ambitious target of 1 million voter registrants during a 10-day nationwide registration drive that commenced on August 1. Central Luzon leads with 208,398 registrants, followed by Calabarzon with 102,235. The National Capital Region ranks third with 64,131 registrants, while the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) has the fewest with 12,987 applicants. Manila: The Land Transportation Office in Western Visayas (LTO-6) released 32 motorcycle plates during the second day of the ‘Oplan: Stop, Plate and Go,’ a street-level campaign to distribute unclaimed motorcycle plates on Tuesday.
