DOTr Chief Orders Probe into Missing Jewelry in NAIA T3

Manila: Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon has directed an investigation into the disappearance and subsequent recovery of a passenger’s jewelry box at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3. Dizon tasked the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) with conducting the investigation to prevent similar incidents in the future. According to Philippines News Agency, Dizon emphasized the importance of passenger safety and security as per President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive. The swift recovery and return of the missing jewelry to passenger Kimberly Nakamura were highlighted as a priority. Nakamura had acknowledged the efforts of the NAIA Terminal 3 Airport Police Department
