Health Office Renews Call to Eliminate Dengue Breeding Grounds
Baguio city: The City Health Services Office (CHSO) has urged residents anew to remain vigilant against dengue by actively destroying mosquito breeding sites in their surroundings. City Health Officer Dr. Celia Flor Brillantes on Wednesday reminded the public to consistently observe preventive measures such as eliminating stagnant water, seeking early medical consultation, and staying hydrated. According to Philippines News Agency, Brillantes cited Ordinance No. 10-2025 or the Consolidated Anti-Mosquito Borne Ordinance, which requires homeowners, business owners, schools, churches, hospitals, and government and private offices to regularly inspect their premises for potential mosquito breeding areas.
