DOH Enhances HIV Education and Treatment Efforts in Northern Mindanao

Cagayan de oro: The Department of Health (DOH) 10 (Northern Mindanao) is intensifying its education campaign on awareness and treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) among younger populations and communities in Northern Mindanao. According to Philippines News Agency, Dr. Wellaflor Kindom Brito, head of DOH-10’s Infectious Diseases Cluster, reported in a press briefing that the cumulative total of HIV cases in the region has reached 4,008 as of March 2025. MMDA and School Executives Collaborate to Tackle Traffic Chokepoints Near Schools

Pasig city: The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Thursday met with school executives to discuss traffic measures to address chokepoints near schools in the National Capital Region (NCR). According to Philippines News Agency, in a meeting at the MMDA head office in Pasig City, MMDA Chair Romando ‘Don’ Artes identified critical chokepoints in the Ortigas area, particularly around La Salle Greenhills and Saint Pedro Poveda College.
