Iloilo City: In a significant crackdown on illegal drugs, the Iloilo City Police Office has confiscated over 23 kilos of shabu and 123.63 grams of marijuana, with a combined estimated street value of more than PHP157 million over the past ten months. Ilocos: Over 92,000 Ilocos Region residents have benefited from the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) emergency employment program from January to May this year. Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) – Ilocos Region Assistant Director Honorina Dian-Baga shared in a forum that the agency has already disbursed PHP497.6 million for the program.
