Manila: The Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) raised PHP28.6 billion from the Treasury bills auction on Monday, exceeding the initial offer of PHP25 billion. “The auction was 3.4 times oversubscribed, attracting PHP84.3 billion in total tenders, prompting the Committee to double the accepted non-competitive bids for the 364-day T-bills to PHP7.2 billion,” the BTr stated.
