On Monday, haze was reported in certain areas of Quezon City and Rizal province caused by fire incidents. Bacolod: Two individuals yielded PHP1.836 million in shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mansilingan here Monday night. In a report on Tuesday, the Bacolod City Police Office City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) identified the suspects as alias “Toto,” 40, and his companion, alias “Totong,” 48, both residents of Purok Manayawsayaw in the same village. According to Philippines News Agency, Toto sold a sachet of shabu worth PHP1,000 to an undercover policeman at around 8:40 p.m. Operatives also seized three knot-tied and six heat-sealed plastic sachets containing 270 grams of shabu pegged at PHP6,800 per gram from the suspect.
